The Role:
Morningstar is looking for a highly versatile, motivated and collaborative Senior Systems Analyst with proven Oracle EBS experience. The ideal candidate will have had implementation and support experience with the Quote to Cash process in Oracle’s E-Business Suite. The successful candidate must possess extensive, hands-on experience in Oracle EBS R12 that includes working with the service contracts, accounts receivables, and cash management modules, but experience also preferred with the general ledger, accounts payable, fixed assets and modules. The Oracle EBS Solution Architect must be a self-starter who takes the initiative to define solution approaches for identified areas of process and system improvements, achievable by leveraging and/or extending upon Oracle`s E-Business Suite. The types of projects you will be engaged in include: Oracle E-Business Suite R12 deployments for our international locations, monthly production support releases, and other initiatives to help better enable and support existing business processes leveraging the capabilities of Oracle EBS. This position is based in our Chicago office.

Responsibilities:
+ Participate in projects, work with both the system integrator and outsource vendor, for successful on-time delivery through formal project management and software development methodology
+ Be a key facilitator within the organization, acting as a bridge between the key business stakeholders and the IT delivery team
+ Work closely with end-users to understand business process improvements, identify and document functional requirements, and provide solution approach options
+ Own the business technology solutions and architecture deployed across the enterprise to support the quote to cash processes
+ Evangelize and build consensus for leveraging processes and capabilities consistently across business units and geographies
+ Establish and sustain the compliance of IT general controls.

Requirements:
+ 7+ years of successful IT experience and at minimum 5 years extensive experience in implementing and supporting Oracle EBS environments.
+ Extensive background in the implementation and optimization of Oracle EBS GL, AR, CM, AP, FA, and SC modules.
+ Deep knowledge of the Oracle EBS R12 application architecture, including integrations and executions, technology and toolsets.
+ Proven global implementation expertise in implementations and solution architecture in a global environment.
+ Ability to balance tactical objectives with strategic initiatives.
+ Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
+ Energy and desire to thrive in a fast-paced organization.
+ Excellent leadership, communication (written and oral) and presentation skills.
+ A bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field.
