Morningstar Development Program,
Design Track - U.S. University Students
Morningstar was founded in 1984 on the belief that making complex financial data accessible and easy to use empowers people to make more intelligent investment decisions and take control of their financial futures. Design is a “core component” of Morningstar as described by Joe Mansueto, our CEO and founder: “Design has been a huge part of our success. It has transformed good products into great products and given us a distinctive edge over the competition.”

The Design track of our Morningstar Development Program complements our existing tracks for sales associates, data analysts, and product consultants. Our career development program offers you the opportunity to work in our Software, Data, Investment Research, and/or International business divisions. Our program’s advisor will help you identify your continuing education needs, as well as develop your career goals. The program features special projects, roundtables, and presentations designed to help you succeed. You will learn investment concepts and acquire entrepreneurial skills to build upon and use every day in your new Morningstar career.

You should have an outstanding academic record and superlative communication skills. We value creativity and analytical ability, as well as a varied, interesting background. An adaptable nature and an appreciation of variety are helpful. Program participants enjoy the same competitive salaries, benefits, and perks as all Morningstar employees.

In Spring 2013, we will be conducting on-campus recruiting activities at colleges and universities across the United States.
