The Team: The Norwegian development team consists of an Implementation and Project Manager and the new advertised System Developer role. The team works closely with local sales and implementation teams to create customized client solutions. In addition, the team also works closely with the pan-European development teams in London and in other European offices to develop international client solutions and tools.

The Role: Morningstar is looking for a creative, detail-oriented application developer to create customized client solutions for our complex software packages. The role will also include implementing and supporting the full range of solutions like data feeds and tools. The role is embedded in a diverse work environment, enabling you to use all your skills and further develop your capabilities. This position is based in our Oslo office.

Responsibilities
+ Develop, administer, and deliver tailor-made client solutions.
+ Implement new features in already existing tools.
+ Adjust and extend demanding web solutions.
+ Work closely with pan-European development teams.
+ Work on ad-hoc projects for the retail web site, delivering data feeds and other local development projects.

Requirements
+ Organized, success-oriented individual with a desire to learn more about new technologies.
+ Excellent knowledge in C#, ASP.NET is necessary.
+ Good knowledge in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and HTTP is necessary
+ Good knowledge in XML, XSL and SOAP is desirable.
+ Some experience with SQL server development is desirable.
+ Fluent written and spoken Norwegian and English language skills
+ A minimum bachelor`s degree or equivalent in a related field
