Morningstar Launches Continuing Education Credit Center on MorningstarAdvisor.com, Signs Three Top Providers

CHICAGO, May 17, 2001 – Morningstar, Inc., a leading provider of investment information and analytical tools, today launched a Continuing Education Credit Center on MorningstarAdvisor.com, the firm's Web site for financial advisors. The "CE Credit Center" is an extensive catalog of online courses, books, and tapes that advisors can use to earn the credits they need to maintain their professional designations.

"Advisors have told us they waste valuable time going from site to site to evaluate various online continuing education opportunities. With the CE Credit Center, we have done that work for them. We have aggregated selected course offerings from a number of the top online providers and are presenting advisors with a searchable database of these courses, which they can take from the convenience of their offices or homes," said Dave Schabes, business development manager for MorningstarAdvisor.com. 

The new CE Center expands the variety of advisor resources offered on MorningstarAdvisor.com. Morningstar is launching its CE Center with courses from three providers:
