| | | | | | Ibbotson Associates Australia Appoints Damian Holland Head of Managed Account Solutions | | SYDNEY, 8 March 2012 – Ibbotson Associates Australia, a unit of the Morningstar Investment Management division, has appointed Damian Holland as Head of Managed Account Solutions.
Holland will be responsible for developing and managing the delivery of Ibbotson's managed account solutions, incorporating diversified and sector managed account portfolios, to retail clients including dealer group licensees and financial planning practices.
Holland was most recently Group Head of Distribution at Armytage Group, and before that Managing Director at Ralton Asset Management. He has also held senior roles at Advance Asset Management, Vanguard Investments, Macquarie Funds Management, and Barclays Global Investors.
"Damian is a great addition to our business. His background in client management, product development, and business development has made him a highly respected figure in the Australian wealth management industry," Ibbotson Associates Australia Managing Director Chris Galloway said.
Ibbotson Associates Australia recently appointed Matthew Esler as Head of Adviser Services and James Foot as Investment Consultant to support the company's focus on retail implemented investment consulting and advice services. Esler worked previously with Holland at Advance, and together they will deliver retail solutions including managed account solutions to financial planning dealer groups.
"Damian has run a successful managed accounts business and has hands-on experience with managed account platforms that will enable him to make a significant contribution to our ability to deliver leading-edge managed account solutions to our financial adviser clients," Esler said.
