The team seeks a talented Client Solutions Consultant to provide superior service to our institutional software subscribers.
The Role: As a Client Solutions Consultant, you will provide world class support for institutional users of Morningstar software platforms including Direct, Workstation, Encorr and Altvest. You will serve as the interface between prospective clients and the sales team by using your thorough understanding of Morningstar`s product platforms and strong investment knowledge to assess client needs and provide them with in-depth product training. You will be evaluated based on your success in converting product trials, rationalizing and promoting product usage, and maximizing client retention by helping companies integrate these products into their workflow.This role is ideal for individuals interested in pursuing a career in investment consulting, product management, or sales. This position is based in our office in Frankfurt.
Responsibilities
+ Educate individual clients about industry trends and our institutional software, including data, functionality, and features of Morningstar Direct, EnCorr, and Morningstar Workstation.
+ Manage client product trials, including assessing client needs and providing training during the trial stage in support of the sales team.
+ Work with Morningstar`s data operations group, developers, product managers, and internal service consultants to resolve client issues in a timely manner.
+ Provide product enhancement ideas to the development team.
+ Provide quality assurance on all new features and changes prior to release.
+ Contribute to market research, marketing and promotional events, and other projects as needed.
Requirements
+ A quantitative aptitude and a proven ability to build long-term client relationships.
+ Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to work with clients who have sophisticated investment knowledge and business experience.
+ Excellent German and English language skills are required.
+ Several years of relevant experience working in the investment industry, including some direct experience with client service.
+ Strong knowledge of the institutional investment market.
+ A minimum of a bachelor`s degree or equivalent is required; business, mathematics, finance, or related majors are preferred.
+ A CFA designation or progress towards this designation is highly valued.
